Other Events:
Sperm Festival… contemporary art, music and visual culture event, Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th April, more info: http://www.sperm.cz/2010/en/news.html
Beer Gardens…with the weather now nice Prague’s many beer gardens have opened up, we recommend Letna Park (Letenske Namesti tram stop and walk south) and Reigrovy Sady (walk into the Park opposite Saints bar) Both have areas with spectacular sunset views, perfect after a day of sightseeing. On the Maps:
Letna Beer Garden: is here
Riegrovy SadyBeer Garden: is almost here
Theater/Opera… Prague’s National Theater has several locations and great performances, you can see the whole schedule in English here: http://www.narodni-divadlo.cz/Default.aspx?jz=en&dk=program.aspx#
OR, you can pick up tickets online to these and other Shows here: http://www.ticketsonline.cz/
Art/Music events…can be found here: http://www.expats.cz/prague/events.php?when=today&event_type=all, but unfortunately many of these “events” are simply poorly disguised promotions from bars and restaurants that run nonstop. We’d recommend looking primarily at the art section to see the exhibits currently in town.
