Must See!Angel Café is the newest thing on the Prague gay scene. The venue had its Grand opening on May first and we are suitably impressed. They have taken a nondescript cellar bar location and turned it into a trendy lounge with exposed bricks, stainless steel air-ducts, whimsical paint, and white couches. That little bit of pretension Prague’s Gay world was short on took a big step toward filling up.

art of all this is, they’ve managed to do all this without making (defunct) G-elements mistake of matching the prices to the décor. Actually, that is one of the best parts of Gay Prague in general, prices are low. This follows for everything on Angel’s menu except the beer, but really when you are there you want a glass of wine or better in your hand anyway.In the warm months there is also nice sidewalk seating with attentive staff.
Angels is open from 2:00pm till midnight, they are wisely positioning themselves as a warm-up for the big clubs nearby.
